According to Alexa: BbTrumpet.com was the most visited trumpet website for all of 2003, 2004 and the 2nd most visited site in 2005. BbTrumpet.com has had over 16 million hits now.

In august of 2004 I opened another site. I did this to hold the name Trumpetcollege and to increase the amount of bandwidth I could have. I have moved all big files like sound files and pictures there. So now BbTrumpet has to share hits with my new site. I realize that I will drop from #1 but overall I will still get more total visitors this way.

These looked like they were high up in the top 10 until you see The percentage of hits they got.

OJ’s site/CTG 62,000 but abel.hive got 7% of visitors averaging the site to 900,000 making it # 27 on the list instead of # 2.

Jerry Callet at http://www.Callet.com at 500,000 but it only gets 19% of that traffic averaging to 2,500,000 making it # 53 instead of # 15 .

Smith Watkins 18,000 but they only get 4% of the traffic. Averaging to 900,000 making it # 28 instead of # 1.

Sites run by geocities, freeservers, mp3, angelfire, aol homepages, simpatico, msn, etc can’t be figured in as there are thousands sharing the hit total.

Also most personal sites are not included (as defined by Alexa) as they don’t compete against websites. If Alexa ranked it normally I included it.
For example a website ranked 1 million might get 10 times as many hits as a personal page ranked 50,000 (against other personal pages).
